Clubs and Challenges

At Angling Unlimited we’re looking for ways to put fun and sport into your experience. We’re wide open to suggestions from our clients and just about anyone else.

Clubs

Big Fish Club
Angling Unlimited will begin it’s own three tiered club system for king salmon in 2007:
Over 30 pounds: Tyee Club
Over 40 pounds: Tyeee Club
Over 50 pounds: Tyeeee Club

2008 Standing Coming Soon

Big Butt Club
Enter the esteemed Big Butt Club when you bring any halibut over 100 pounds to the boat. If you keep it, we’ll weigh it. If you choose to let it go, we’ll tape measure it and use the International Pacific Halibut Commission length weight tables.

Great Northern Hooknose Club

Challenges

Free Trip for Fly Caught King Salmon
Given Captain Tom’s eternal interest in salt water fly fishing, we’re extending a new challenge. The first customer to land a salt water king salmon by casting a fly in accordance with the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) rules for fly fishing will get a free trip. Aside from IGFA rules, we have to include that this fisherman must do so with the go ahead from the other three anglers on the boat. Three moochers and one fly angler doesn’t necessarily make for happy times.

New Shimano Tekota 500LC for landing a fish on the most exotic gear
Lastly, we’ll have a prize of a new Shimano Tekota 500LC for the person to land a fish on the most exotic gear. We’ve seen silvers landed on a Popeil Pocket Fishermen and a 40 pound king on a K-Mart fresh water spinning rod. Bring something weird and give it a try. Final prize awarded by vote of Angling Unlimited’s nine captains. May the biggest bribe win.
