The Tongass National Forest, a vast area of northern temperate rain forest that covers much of Southeast Alaska, offers exciting fresh water opportunities. Species found in the rivers and streams within range of Sitka include Dolly Varden, steelhead, trout, as well as pink, chum, sockeye, and silver salmon.
Angling Unlimited focuses on the world class salt water fishing for salmon, halibut, rockfish, and lingcod found in the waters around Sitka. We also have the knowledge and equipment to take you freshwater fishing. That said, we are often booked solidly on the salt water, so we’ve developed a strong working relationship with the best freshwater fly fishing specialist in the area. We’d be happy to provide or arrange a day or two of river and stream fishing at your request.
