Maybe it's our highly honed fishing skills. Maybe it's because we have the best boats in the fleet, terrific accommodations, and great personal service. Whatever the reason, each year Angling Unlimited's schedule fills up earlier and earlier. Nearly 90% of our business comes from repeat customers or referrals from satisfied clients, most of whom book nearly a year in advance. The prime season in the waters around Sitka runs from May 15 through September 10. You can book your dates by phone at (800) 297-3380, or fill out our reservation form. Special discounts apply to some dates. We'll see you in Sitka!

Who says that Gone Fishing only applies to men? Now women can enjoy the thrill of reeling in a world class King Salmon, thanks to a new summer package from Angling Unlimited, Alaska’s leading saltwater and fly fishing outfitter. The new “Women’s Gone Fishing Package,” available May 13 – 18, 2008, opens up the world of saltwater fishing to females.
The four-day, 5 night package pairs the excitement of sport fishing in Southeast Alaska with the best of gourmet seafood preparation, through cooking classes and tasting with one of America’s leading chefs.
During the stay, women will be tutored in the basics of fishing from tying knots to cutting and rigging the perfect bait. Once they have caught the big one, guests will learn how to filet the catch and later, how to prepare a five-star dinner. An optional eco-touring day will give participants a chance to view humpback whales, eagles, sea otters, sea lions, and seals.

Ludger Szmania returns for another year of dazzling cooking displays and multi-course fish dinners that will knock your socks off. For two hours each evening this remarkable chef from Szmania’s Restaurant in Seattle will prepare appetizers and main courses from the fish you caught that day. Expect a spirited discussion between the chef and the students on fish cookery, fishing, politics, and life in general. Great eating, great fun, and, if you pay attention, you’ll return home with the skills to impress family and friends. A cookbook with all the recipes is included.
