Halibut and King Salmon Regulations for 2013

By January 26, 2013No Comments

Halibut
The North Pacific Fishery Management Council and the International Pacific Halibut Commission have finalized the halibut regulations for 2013. Limit is one halibut per day that is either under 45 inches or over 68 inches. There is no annual limit. This halibut regulation worked well for our customers in 2012 and we expect more exciting halibut fishing in 2013.

King Salmon
We haven’t had much intel on king salmon abundance forecasts for 2013, but we’re working on it and hope to have some clues published in the next newsletter.
