Salmon Pepper Burgers
Gather your ingredients:
1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup yellow bell pepper, diced
1 cup panko bread crumbs
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 pounds salmon fillets, finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
olive oil
burger buns
lettuce
tomatoes
Sesame Mayonnaise
1 cup mayo
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
Finely chop the salmon. Mix 1 cup panko, 1/2 yellow bell pepper, 1/2 red bell pepper, 1 teaspoon minced garlic and 2 pounds finely chopped salmon.
Mix egg, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Combine with salmon mixture. If mixture is too running, add more eggs.  This makes the mixture stickier. It makes the patties hold together.
Form patties from mixture. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook patties in oil for 5 minutes on each side.
While salmon cooks, mix sesame mayo. Combine 1 cup mayo, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 teaspoon soy sauce and 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil.
Remove from pan. Grab burger buns and fixings. Build your burger.
