Captain Tom's Fishing Repor FInalSince our last report, we’ve left Cape Edgecumbe and started fishing farther north. Our most reliable spots for salmon have been the Parking Lot, Point Amelia and Gilmer Bay. We aren’t the only ones who’ve noticed. It’s usually a race to these spots in the morning with the early boats benefiting from their hustle. Captain Ryan fished his last day today with the Strouse party. They caught their limit of kings each day of their trip. David Strouse finished the trip by bagging the largest king of their trip – a 30 pounder. They caught ample halibut, black cod and one slot lingcod in their three days.  The ocean has been calm the last week, but building seas are in the forecast for the days to come.
