Isaiah HahnIsaiah

Originally from Winthrop, Minnesota, Isaiah is using his summer break from teaching in Menahga to deckhand for AU. He is an avid fisherman who dabbles in fishing tournaments and said that if he wasn’t going to Sitka to spend his days on the ocean, he would most likely be spending them on a lake in Minnesota.

He learned of the position from co-workers at school who said, “Mr. Hahn, this would be the perfect job for you!” He is anxious to meet a lot of great people, enjoy seeing awesome wildlife, and of course the fishing! As a newly married man, he credits his wonderful wife, Beth with letting him venture off the Alaska for the summer.

Her favorite adventure is an annual family trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in northern Minnesota for the walleye fishing opener. She looks forward to this trip every year because of the great fishing and fun times with family while camping in the woods.

Sarah learned about the position from former hostess, Brielle Carlson. Sarah shared, “I am looking forward to seeing returning clients and members of the AU crew I met during the summer of 2012, and meeting new faces this year. I can’t wait to be back in Sitka for another amazing fishing season with Angling Unlimited!” Alaska has always been on Sarah’s bucket list, so she is grateful to return for another summer with AU.
