Regarding the Meridith Jaeger photo of the two beautiful late August salmon she caught in 2014, I believe the salmon in Meridith’s left hand to be a Chinook (King) because of the black gums on the lower jaw, and I think she is holding a Coho (Silver) in her right hand.
The one in her right hand is a silver or coho salmon; in the left hand, she’s got a king or chinook…
