Fishing in Alaska is a faraway bucket-list dream to many people in the lower 48. A mere 2-hour non-stop flight from Seattle, AU and Sitka deliver that dream without the faraway. Alaska Airlines continues to add non-stops to Seattle from more and more cities across the country, making a trip to Sitka more affordable and convenient than ever. Milwaukee (recently added) to Sitka currently sells just over $500 round trip during AU’s Reel Meal dates in early June. Leave Milwaukee at 8 AM and arrive in Sitka at 12:35 PM, just after lunch local time. On the return, you leave Sitka at 10:20 AM and get into Milwaukee at 11:35 PM.  To ice the cake, your lodging with AU is 15-minute van ride from Sitka’s airport. No travel add-ons like seaplanes or ferries. All you do is touch down in Seattle, change planes, and fly onward to Sitka. We’ll take it from there.
