Why you’re here/Why Alaska?: This is my first season working at AU and I am so excited to experience Alaska’s beautiful nature and spend time with some wonderful people. Working in Sitka is the perfect opportunity to feed my love for adventure, work in a stunning environment, and meet people that share my passion for exploring the outdoors.
What you do in the offseason: I am currently a sophomore at St. Olaf College in Minnesota. I compete on both my school’s Nordic Ski and Track & Field teams. Additionally, I work part-time at my local nursing home as a NAR. When I am not studying, training, or working I love spending time with my family and friends.
What you love to do/hobbies: I love experiencing new things. Traveling, camping, cooking, hiking, and reading are just a few of my favorite hobbies!
Education/goals/career plan: I am currently double majoring in Political Science and Spanish with a minor in International Relations. In the future, I plan on attending law school and working as an international attorney or in public health policy.
