Hometown: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Why Alaska? I’ve had my sights on Alaska for years now and since I have friends who’ve worked in Sitka, this was the natural choice. I’m also here to catch big fish.
What you do in the off-season: I’m a dogsledding guide in Ely, MN. I play with Inuit dogs, cross country ski, and do anything from a half day trip on our trails to a winter camping trip in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area with our guests.
Hobbies: Camping, hiking, fishing, working out, cooking, and reading!
Education / Career Plan: I graduated from the University of Minnesota with and Environmental Science degree. Right now the plan is to continue improving my winter camping knowledge and gain experience working on boats.
