Well, things sure turned around this year as far as the number of people traveling. Our flights were all full and some were late. You just have to bite the bullet. We had an adventure just landing in Sitka. The plane circled for 60 minutes until the fog and clouds cleared. Finally, we made it grabbed our luggage, and went to the smiling-faced Hostesses. Elli was our great hostess and made everything very easy. The room was perfect as usual. Spencer was, of course, the fishing magnet. I’ve never seen a guy work so hard to find fish. His new deckhand Hunter worked his butt off and was always on top of things. Changing baits, gaffing fish, making sandwiches, always hustling and learning. The water conditions were perfect. We had to work hard finding fish but we did pretty darn good. I had two new guys in my crew, who had never experienced Alaska fishing. They have stories forever. Angling Unlimited is just a well-oiled machine. Ready for 2022. Thank you…Oh, I forgot Ryan, the Processor. He was so helpful at the airport making a hectic experience easy… That’s it.
