I can’t say enough good things about this fishing trip—it was truly first class from start to finish. From the moment we landed in Sitka, we were greeted at the airport with a shuttle to the lodge. The accommodations were spotless, comfortable, and well thought out—complete with a kitchenette, breakfast items, and even a vehicle to use around town.
On the water, the experience was just as impressive. The captain and deckhand were friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Safety was always a priority, but they also made sure we had an incredible time and, most importantly, put us on plenty of fish. A fresh lunch was provided on the boat, and the scenery along the way was breathtaking—we saw eagles, bears, waterfalls, and of course the beautiful Alaskan coastline.
What really set this trip apart was the attention to detail. All fishing gear was provided, the hosts were exceptionally welcoming, and at the end of the trip they cleaned, vacuum sealed, froze, and boxed all of our catch so it was ready for pickup at the airport on departure day. I’ve been on a lot of fishing trips over the years, but this one stands far above the rest. From top to bottom, it’s simply the best fishing trip I’ve ever been on.
