Where were you raised? Rochester, MN

How old were you when you started fishing and what did you spend your youth fishing for? My parents got me hooked on fishing at a very early age.  My fondest childhood memories were centered around fishing. We mostly fished for walleye throughout minnesota and nearly every summer my parents took me on a fishing trip into Canada. Then, as soon as lakes froze over in Minnesota, we were out ice fishing for walleye and crappie. There’s no stopping my fishing obsession.

What do you like most about being a captain? I love guiding people on the fishing excursion of a lifetime. Sitka has a rich history with an abundance of beautiful scenery, but above all else has one of the best salmon fisheries in the world. I enjoy sharing that environment and developing new friendships with those I take out fishing.

What are your strengths? My knowledge and love for fishing, a fun personality, a genuine interest in people, and a desire to provide excellent customer service.
