Highest Catch Rates

Sitka, Alaska is recognized by the Alaska Department of Fish & Game as ranking HIGHEST in the region for total catch and catch rates for salmon and halibut.

Multi-Species Days

Salmon, halibut, and rockfish are found in close proximity in very strong numbers – providing excellent fishing for multiple species in the SAME day!

Huge Silvers

Silvers grow at a rate of roughly a pound a week during the last summer of their lives. That means a silver that was 7 pounds on July 1 could be 15-18 pounds by September. September provides a shot at the elusive 20-pound silver and the average size will be well above 10 pounds.

Big Savings

Summer vacations are nearly over, but the fish don’t know that. They’re still here and they are hungry! We offer a 20% discount as an extra incentive for you to take one last vacation before the leaves begin to fall and another season has passed by.

The Best Salmon Fishing in Alaska!

Hear What Our Guests Have To Say About Their Angling Unlimited Experience

As usual, AU service was first-class from beginning to end on the trip. Having Captain Chuck on the first day was a real treat, starting us off with our first 30 fish coho limit ever! Made for an awesome dock photo. Highlighting that day, Andrew caught a behemoth beautiful 18 lb coho of which Chuck took a gorgeous photo that we saw made your website – very cool! Captain DJ also really found the fish for us, as always, the next two days, catching another 25 silvers each day, and we could’ve easily limited out again each day if we’d landed a few more that were hooked. An amazing delicious salmon haul to bring home along with all the yummy assorted white fish. And, in the foil bubble liners (thank you!!), all the fish came through great and frozen on our respective return trips to Spokane, Denver, and even Dan’s and my three-stop, 11-hour total trip back to Pittsburgh.

Also special thanks to the shore crew for all the special treatment in shuttling us to and from the dock in Little Blue each day, with Dad’s chair, and also for treating Dad to yet another delicious home-baked German chocolate cake. Extremely thoughtful and appreciated as always!

McCoy Party, September 2022

We had a wonderful time on our trip! Everything about our trip was so well organized. Captain Tyler and Calvin were a pleasure to fish with. They quickly saw to our every need while fishing and expertly kept us on fish each and every day.

Thanks also to Kassie and Katie and the other staff at AU for making the trip so enjoyable. Pickups and dropoffs were right on time and our lodging was very clean and well stocked.

We enjoyed the chance to meet everyone at the AU-hosted barbeque on Wednesday night. Such an enthusiastic and fun group to be around.

Thanks again,
Mike and Mary Wood

We had a great time. Both Tyler and Calvin couldn’t have been better. Tyler headed to halibut grounds first, as Gary wanted to make sure we got our halibut limit this time. Tyler was good at putting us on drifts that had salmon and moving as the fish got scarce. We enjoyed their positive, enthusiastic attitudes.

Tell them thanks for a good time.
Kathy and Gary Fleming

Fleming Party, September 2022

We had a great experience. After four previous trips, this was my first time fishing with a captain other than Chuck. As anticipated, Captain Tom also provided great fishing, interesting conversation and some laughs along the way. Chuck, of course, gave us everything we could hope for – and more. We were fortunate to have outstanding assistance from Collin as our deckhand for 3 of our 4 days on the water. Kassie did an excellent job as our hostess.

Saltwater fishing was a new experience for Rod, Jerry and Mike. Though we were physically tired at the end of each day, they consistently told me they were having a great time and looking forward to the next day of fishing.

Thanks to AU for another exciting adventure!
