I thoroughly enjoyed everyone in our awesome group of fishermen, Captain Tyler and First Mate Gunnar, and the staff at Angling Unlimited. You run a first rate operation and took great care of us from when we landed in Sitka to getting home with lots of still frozen fish! The accommodations at the lodge are wonderful and the group dinner at the pavilion was a delicious affair.
The fishing was also fantastic! Tyler and Gunnar were really patient, untangling my line many times and helping me in various ways, as I was the weak link among the excellent fishermen in our group. Also, Captain Tyler makes an awesome lunch sandwich!
Plus we got a close up view of some humpback whales – another trip highlight!
