Staying At the Hotel the Whole Time
Typically a hostess from Angling Unlimited will bring you from the airport back to the lodge (15 min drive), check your group in, try on raingear, provide car keys and a car, give breakfast foods, and send you to the hotel with your car, confirmation codes, and itinerary. After fishing each day you will stop in the office and let us know if you need your breakfast items replenished. On your last day of fishing, you will be shuttled to the hotel and the airport the next day. You will not have access to a car on your last night.
*The only exception to this is when you come in on a late-night flight (anything past 6 pm). Then we would drop a car off at the hotel for you and bring you straight there from the airport. Check-in is at the hotel and we provide breakfast sandwiches on the boat the first day (if the whole group comes in late). Breakfast items will be provided after that and we will give you those after the first day of fishing.
* No cleaning provided by us at the hotel (the hotel will clean for you if you ask them)
At An Offsite Airbnb the Whole Trip
If you arrive on a flight before you are able to check in to your offsite Airbnb we will check you all in at our lodge, provide rain gear, and a car along with the address, door code, and directions to your house. You can bring food from us with you or stop by the Lodge once in the house to pick up the refrigerated breakfast items. If you are coming in after check-in then we will have a car at the offsite, breakfast in the fridge, and you get checked in directly at the house.
*Same as hotels, if you would like breakfast items restocked, please let the office or the hostess who drives you from the dock know.
*A daily “fluff” will be provided by an AU hostess as long as we have access to the house. That means we need a spare key if you would like us to clean. If the house has a door code then we are all set. There are specific check-out instructions that will be provided by the Airbnb owner upon arrival. Please follow those instructions carefully and treat the property with respect.
Cars
For convenience, we always try to provide a car for every single group that is at an offsite or hotel to minimize shuttling. However, this means that groups are not always guaranteed a car on their LAST NIGHT or for early arrivals. While you are fishing you WILL have a car.
