It’s a wild mix for salmon this late July.
The biggest king of the season, 45-pounder, was landed this week by Chuck White on Shearwater with Captain Jack Barnick.
King action has remained brisk over the past week with limits the rule most days.
King fishing remains mostly solid but short of a slam-dunk.
Highly productive fishing for all species the past few weeks. We’re off to a great start for 2022!

The month isn’t quite over, but the summary is simple. Things started out hit or miss, with a bit more emphasis on miss. As we come to the end of the month, it’s almost all hit.
