Why you’re here/Why Alaska?: My dad, mom, and uncle all worked for Angling Unlimited when they were in college. They have all told me so many stories of the times they spent in Alaska. It was been a dream of mine to be up in Sitka ever since.
What you do in the offseason: I will be finishing up my first year of school this spring at Kansas State University. I also work part-time for Booth Creek Waygu Cattle Company when I’m not in class.
What you love to do/Hobbies: I just love to be outside, I enjoy nature and being active. Fishing is for sure my favorite hobby. I also love agriculture and our farm back home.
Education/Goals/Career Plan: I plan to earn a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness as well as a minor in agronomy. After school, I hope to find a job within agriculture that is close to home. I grew up on a farm and I want to be able to work with my dad to continue to grow our own farm.
