AU’s new North River 30 footer is under construction in Oregon. It’s going to be another beauty based on our original design. We’re expecting delivery just in time for the season and we’re looking for a name. Keep your suggestions coming in, because the person with the winning suggesting will receive a personalized embroidered Angling Unlimited jacket! We’ve posted the suggestions we’ve received so far and we’ll be updated as new ones come in. A final decision will be made by April 1 – Captain Chuck’s birthday. Send your suggestion here. Only one submission per person. Our current boats are named Aquila, 7th Sun, Loon, Skute, Shearwater, Larus and Ouzel. The boats we just sold are named Gannet and Kestrel.

I would like to submit the name of new boat as the “Minnesota Moocher” (the only proper way to set the hook!) We are looking to coming back by next year!
Name that Boat—-“Silver Spur”
ADIPOSE!
Snipe
Razorbill or murrelet
“Kingfisher” referring to the bird species.
Salmon Shark
Just call it “Sam and Hal”
“Nevis Nemo”
Or for those of us who didn’t take the sea sickness advice you provided, you could call it “Up-Chuck”
Tern or Petrel no doubt
boat name: ANHINGA common in fresh water swamps, ponds& lakes, spears the fish with a long straight bill.
In the spirit of naming your boats after birds how about “Cuervo”, the native american word for Crow.
Sitka has been one of my favorite place to fish in Alaska-plan on being back in 2014–Name the boat
“HORIZON’
“Siskin” – Name the boat contest.
In honor of the Great State and Great Fishing, name your new boat “North Star”
I would like to suggest “SEA ANGEL”.
“Reel Time” for the name the boat contest.
