love when you have just as much fun after fishing as when you are fishing. That’s why we’ve created some special summertime events for our guests to keep the day going after the fishing is done. Here are our events during the first half of the season.
Hook It & Cook It
The excitement of sport fishing combined with the best gourmet seafood preparation.
Ludger Szmania of Szmania’s Restaurant in Seattle will dazzle you with cooking displays and multi-course fish dinners. For two hours each evening, this remarkable chef will prepare appetizers and main courses from the fish you caught that day.
Hook It & Cook It is $2,245 per person and is only available May 16-21!
Father’s Day
Father’s Day weekend is a special time for a dad to spend time with his kids. Give your dad the gift of fishing this Father’s Day.
You will arrive on the June 15, fish 16, 17, 18 during the prime king salmon run and fly home the 19th. For your trip, you have the option to add a $50 gift certificate to the Channel Club and a $75 gift certificate for AU gear in our gift shop or a 20% discount for those dates. Fourth of July
Enjoy two great days of fishing, four nights of lodging, and a July 4 celebration small town America-style. Early July features excellent opportunities for king salmon, halibut, rockfish, and silver salmon. The waters around Sitka are the best in the North Pacific for sport fishing and you’ll also see all kinds of wildlife: eagles, whales, sea otter, seals, sealions, puffins, and albatross to name a few. After fishing on July 3, you’ll enjoy the fireworks display, which doesn’t begin until nearly midnight because it stays light so late. On July 4 there is a parade through downtown Sitka and all manner of food and amusement booths. Follow that up with another great day on the water on July 5 and you’ve got the perfect Independence Day mini-vacation.
Our Fourth of July package is $1,245 per person which includes 2 days of fishing/4 nights of lodging and a free rental car so you can tour Sitka, plus go to and from the celebrations.
