Halibut Quiz: July 2017

July 31, 2017Leave a commentThe Captain's Blog, Trivia TuesdayBy Angling Unlimited

What’s the difference between these two Pacific halibut? Scroll down to find out!

Answer: Pacific halibut are almost always right eyed, meaning both eyes and the brown pigment are on the right side of the fish. Captain Bryan brought in a left-eyed Pacific halibut. The picture shows one right eyed (on right) and one left eyed halibut (on left).
