The Best Valentines Day

What better way to say I love you to the fisher in your family than booking them a trip with Angling Unlimited. Flowers wilt, chocolates melt or add to the waistline, and a dinner out only lasts a few hours. The gift of a trip to Sitka with Angling Unlimited delivers days of fun, fish to bring home for many romantic dinners, and a lifetime of memories.

Picture the surprise and excitement of that fisherperson you love when they open a card that tells them they’re fishing Alaska in 2026. We have a great selection of dates in May, June, and July so give us a call and let us make it happen.

Springtime in Sitka

AU’s season gets underway in mid-May with excellent fishing for king salmon, halibut, rockfish, lingcod, and blackcod. If the long winter has left you longing for the feel of a king ripping line off the reel or a halibut pulling drag as it dives back to the bottom, there’s no reason to wait. Get out of the gate early. We’ve got some special packages available in May and June. Check it out on our website or give Bella a call (907) 738-4746.

Explore Sitka

Spending an extra day in Sitka? Have people in your group who don’t fish? Sitka offers a wide variety of excellent options including hiking, biking, kayaking, museums, and ways to get up close and personal with eagles, bears, or returning salmon. You can even play a 9 hole round of golf.

Alaska Raptor Center

“The Alaska Raptor Center provides medical treatment to approximately 200 injured birds each year.  Although we specialize in raptors, we will aid any wild bird in need.  We strive to heal, rehabilitate and release all of our avian patients, however, some are injured too severely to fully recover and survive in the wild.  These non-releasable birds may join our Raptors-in-Residence team, helping us teach the public and schoolchildren about the wonders of raptor natural history and the habitats in which they live!”
