Luke McNamee

Luke McNamee was born on February 14th, 2005, the son of Chuck and Jenny McNamee, owners of Angling Unlimited. He has been coming to Alaska ever since he was born and says he wouldn’t have it any other way. To all who have known Luke, it has been clear he was born with fish on the brain. Luke earned his captain’s license January 2025, ran our day charters 2025, and will continue captaining day charters for the 2026 season. He brings a lifetime of experience on the water to the team. 
In the offseason Luke spends as much time fishing as he can. This winter he is working at Arneson’s Rock Point Lodge on the Lake of the Woods doing some hard water fishing (Minnesota lingo for ice fishing) before the journey up north for the AU season.
