Hometown: Renton, WA

Why you’re here/Why Alaska: I had the privilege of fishing at AU when I was 15 with my dad and it was an experience I will never forget! After graduating high school I had the opportunity to come back to Sitka, but this time working as a hostess with my older sister Kassie. I quickly fell in love with the fishing, environment, and the people who make this experience possible. I’m looking forward to my fourth season this summer and creating new memories with our amazing guests and crew!

What you do in the offseason: In the offseason I try to travel as much as possible between work and school. I also always have a project, or four, to keep me occupied.

Career/Future: This Spring I will be graduating from Green River College with an Associate of Arts and plan to transfer to continue my education. I love learning and my interested are quite broad as I am still on a journey of discovering where and what I was to become. I’m currently exploring Art History and Restoration, as well as Mortuary Sciences.

Hobbies: I keep busy being creative and that extends to many mediums including cooking, baking, sewing, and drawing. I most often paint if I have the chance to and primarily use oil but also enjoy water colors.
