We had two boats out yesterday and both limited on silvers (coho). This is the second day in a row of silver limits which begs the question: Are they here to stay? This wasn’t a fast silver bite – just a steady pace over the course of full morning of salmon fishing. Kings were mixed in, but not in large numbers. Halibut limits were also attained again yesterday and the ocean was flat. I’m looking out my window at 4 AM at a cloudless sky and calm water. Whether or not the silvers are here to stay isn’t known, we’ll find out soon if they’re here today.
