Since Sunday we’ve had one day where kings we easier to find than silvers, one day where silvers were easier to find than kings, and one day of wind and rain where we worked hard but found both kinds. Yesterday it all came together – the sun came out, the seas were kind and the fishing was spectacular with limits of kings, silvers, and halibut the rule. The silvers are getting fatter by the day with more and more fish over 10 pounds and the occassion specimen in the low teens. They are biting well and fighting in their own crazy way. It’s great fun. Kings have mostly been in the 20 pound range – nothing huge – but great fish nonetheless. Forecast for today is rain, but a return to sun is expected for Friday and the weekend.
