This past weekend we were at the Red River Valley Sportsmen’s Show in Fargo. We had a great time during the four days of the show – meeting people and hearing about their interest in Alaska.
Most of our conversations revolved around answering questions from people who had heard great stories about Alaska and also wanted to hear some of ours. We shared stories and informed everyone about the benefits of saltwater fishing in Sitka compared to other destinations in Alaska. One thing we couldn’t stress enough was that Sitka not only has the best salmon fishing in Alaska, but it also has the best combo fishing (salmon & halibut) fishing in Alaska.
It was encouraging to know that people are planning trips and we were glad to share our experiences and our business. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and talked with us. If you didn’t catch us in Fargo, you can stop by our booth in two weeks at the Northwest Sportshow in Minneapolis. Hope to see you there!
