Recipe of the week: Lemon Marinated Salmon Shark

July 25, 20143 CommentsRecipesBy Captain Tom Ohaus

Lemon Marinated Salmon Shark

Let’s begin by gathering our ingredients for Lemon Marinated Salmon Shark:
Ingredients:
4 cloves minced garlic
1/3 cup white wine
1/3 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
salt & pepper
Salmon Shark

Sharks urinate through their skin. To neutralize this flavor, fully submerge meat in milk and soak for 24+ hours in refrigerator.

Next day
In a bowl, combine 4 cloves minced garlic, 1/3 cup white wine, 1/3 cup lemon juice, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix to blend. Place salmon shark steaks into Ziploc bag, then cover with the marinade and refrigerate for 1 hour, turning frequently.

Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil the grate. Grill salmon shark steaks for 5 to 6 minutes on each side. Plate to serve, enjoy!
