Allison Godin was born in 1995 to Dan and Michele Godin in Bemidji, MN. She grew up in the small town of Leonard, Minnesota (population 41) where she enjoyed involvement in her school, church, and community. This spring she graduated from Bemidji State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She earned her RN license this summer while working for Angling Unlimited. Allison enjoys the outdoor life – boating, camping, hiking and tanning in the sun.
Allison first came to Alaska in the summer of 2015 with an eye for adventure. She took a job with Angling Unlimited as a hostess. After completing a nursing internship the following summer and graduating, she returned to Angling Unlimited for the 2017 season. She couldn’t stay away from the ocean, the mountains, and Alaska.
Allison recently accepted a position as a Registered Nurse at Sitka Community Hospital and plans to be in Sitka full-time. Working in Alaska has opened a love for travel and the ocean that wasn’t known to her until she experienced it.
