Happy Thanksgiving
It’s that time of the year again. The days grow short, the nights long, the air brisk. Who doesn’t get the urge to hunker down by the fire in late November? Angling Unlimited just completed the 30th season of operating independently in Sitka. We’ve seen change over those decades. Yet, as the saying goes, the more things change, the more they stay the same. We say thanks for so many of those things that have stayed the same – the saltwater wilderness, the opportunity to enjoy spectacular fishing, the forest, the mountains, the wildlife, and the camaraderie we enjoy with our guests. We’re grateful to see the faces of our loyal guests each season, some of whom have been with us each year for the past 30. We’re thankful for that loyalty.
This Thanksgiving maybe you’ll show photos from the 2024 trip while everyone nibbles on homemade smoked salmon from fish you caught yourself. Perhaps you’ll grill a filet of king salmon. The memories last forever. The fish lasts a long while.
