Fishing in the last 10 days of July was good for kings and very spotty for silvers. As our season progresses, the emphasis become more and more on silvers and right now we’re wondering when they will make their way onshore in good numbers. The best silver action has been offshore in 300 to 400 feet of water. It appeared to be building in the last week, but the past two or three days have seen very sparse numbers. They will show, they always do – but sooner would be better.
The seas have been mostly calm with one or two rough days. Halibut and rockfish are pretty close to slam dunk. Stay tuned for the next silver update.
