The good times are rolling right now. The silvers finally arrived in big numbers at Cape
Edgecumbe with limits or near limits for the boats over the past few days. The chum numbers
are diminishing, which is good given that the chums are beginning to get mature and less
appealing table fare. Our guests are still hooking lots of kings. It’s not unusual to hook and
release a half dozen or more in pursuit of the silver limit. Lingcod in the slot size continue to hit
the deck in excellent numbers and halibut fishing remains strong. And, as always, the rockfish
put on a fun show for all who want them. The weather has been a little unsettled but nothing
hard to manage. Fishing doesn’t get much better – anywhere.
