Adam Richards

Hometown: I am from North Branch, Minnesota.
Why Alaska: I’m here because Jack McNamee and Griffin Thompson are two of my good friends and they talked a lot about how fun it is in Alaska. I also think this is the opportunity of a lifetime to be in Alaska all summer, it will be super fun and something I will remember for a very long time.
What you do in the offseason:  In the offseason I have been trying to travel whenever and wherever I can. When I’m not traveling I’m substitute teaching. I have also been able to get out and do some of my other hobbies like snowmobiling, hunting, and fishing.
What you love to do/hobbies: I love to be outside doing many different things. I hunt waterfowl, deer, pheasants, grouse, turkeys, and hopefully this year I’m going to try and go bear hunting. I also like to fish, snowmobile, and go camping with my family.
Education/Goals/Career Plan:  I graduated from Bemidji State University in 2025, with a degree in Science Education. Career wise I could possibly see myself as a boat captain somewhere or a teacher, we’ll just have to wait and see.
