This week’s recipe comes from a reader contribution. Linda Solberg and her husband Mike fished with Captain Ben for three days in July this summer. She loves to cook fish and she followers our recipe of the week section on our blog! Here’s the first of hopefully many contributions. Thanks, Linda!
Let’s begin by gathering our ingredients for Linda’s Ginger Salmon Marinade:
3 large salmon fillets
Juice of 1 lemon
¼ cup soy sauce
Black pepper
¼ cup sesame oil
2 tsp ground ginger
Rinse salmon in cold water and pat dry. Mix ingredients in large ziploc bag. Place salmon in marinade for 2 hrs to overnight.
Remove salmon from bag, skin, then cut into manageable size pieces.
Place salmon on covered grill at medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes per side or until cooked, but not overdone. Flip once.
Remove from grill. Plate to serve and enjoy!
